The first day is and unhurried tempo yet the current frequency is strong to drift us all the way except for the few tricky turns as we float through. Later in the afternoon we stop Burundi entoute to have lunch break for about an hour. After lunch we float through some continuous moderate rapids, generally graded class 3 at the climax volume frequency but subside during dry season. We float along viewing the river birds till we come to a stop at Barabot beach for the night camping.

The Trishuli River is wider and deeper from hence onward and increases the volume prevailing more rapids and current frequency out of which the Tin Devi rapids stands en route. The rapids are class 4 to 7, but at the moment it is class 4, yet technical as we shoot through the Up-set rapid. During the high volume this rapid is more technical and tough to maneuvering from the drops and holes as we can witness after we get by. We will be stopping just after the Up –set rapid for the lunch break where there is a wide sandy beach to relax after the muscle through. Soon after the break we raft through another exciting rapid known as Surprise. It is due to the sudden drop which causes huge hydraulic suction momentum should the raft go by, with the volume water during high volume.

The steady continuous rapid drags we with the changes of the landscape that differs from the previous days and we will find us into a gorge today at Simaltar for the night. The campsite has a natural water falls called “Rainbow Falls” which is safe to take bath under it or just wander around.
