Am: After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu, it includes visit to the Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu Durbar Square) – an ancient durbar (palace) with its numerous old palaces, temples and pagodas, the Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”, and the Kasthamandap Temple, which is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree from which Kathmandu derives its name.

Pm:  After lunch drive up to the Swayambhunath Stupa situated atop a hill from where you could get a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu Valley. The Swayambhunath Stupa is also known as the “Monkey Temple”!!

Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. Later visit Patan City: The city of arts and architecture founded in 250 A.D. and also known as Lalitpur. It is renowned for its fine works in bronze, silver and copper.  Visit the Durbar Square, like its counterpart in Kathmandu, is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyards and graceful pagoda temples, Krishna Temple etc.
Eve:  Special dinner at a restaurant of choice followed by a visit to the Casino in Nepal.

Am: A lazy morning and after a late breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu’s domestic airport for the scenic flight to Chitwan. Upon arrival in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Airport, meet waiting vehicle and drive to the Jungle lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge meet resident naturalists / managers for a briefing about the wildlife activities and check in at the Jungle Lodge.

Pm: Shortly later after some rest and refreshments, proceed for jungle activities provided by the lodge.

Eve: In the evening, the well stocked bar caters to the needs of the thirsty and a hearty meal of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served around the campfire.

Overnight at jungle lodge in Chitwan. (Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner)

Am: Early wakeup call and proceed for an elephant ride or a jungle walk, to view the wildlife in their early repose. This is the best time of the day to see the animals as we silently brush through dewy tall elephant grass (18-20 ft. tall), a habitat for rhinos, tigers and other wild animals. Spend 2-3 hrs. in the jungle, then return to the camp for breakfast.  Shortly afterwards, visit the elephant stables to get a firsthand knowledge on elephants from senior naturalists. Here one can witness the rare scene of elephants at bath.

Pm: After a hearty lunch at camp, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid-afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for general in formations on the National park. In the late afternoon, there is a choice to participate in the programs offered at the camp, which includes Canoe rides/ floats or an escorted Nature walk and bird watching excursion.
Eve: Enjoy the local Tharu tribal stick dance followed by a hearty dinner.

Overnight at jungle lodge in Chitwan. (Meals included: breakfast, lunch, dinner) 

Am: After breakfast, get in to a waiting vehicle and start 5 hours scenic drive to Pokhara via Prithwi Highway. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in at the hotel for refreshments.

Pokhara, which is situated 200 kms west from Kathmandu, is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the laps of the mighty Annapurna Himalaya Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain; it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.

Pm:  Upon arrival in Pokhara check into the resort for refreshment and rest.

Eve:  Stroll around colorful lakeside bazaar & dinner at a nice lakeside restaurant.
Eve:  Special dinner at a restaurant of choice followed by a visit to the Casino.

Am: Breakfast at the resort, later proceed for the sightseeing tour of Pokhara including, Devi’s Fall, White Peace Stupa, Bindyabasini Temple & Seti Gorge.

Pm: Boatride at Fewa lake and visit Barahi Temple situated at the middle of the lake.

Eve: Dinner at a nice restaurant at the lakeside with live band at a popular Disco.

Overnight at lakeside hotel in Pokhara.  (Meals included: breakfast & dinner) 

Am:  After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Pokhara’s Domestic Airport to board the 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s domestic airport, meet Himalayan Holidays representative, assist and transfer to the hotel for room check in assistance.

Pm: Rest of the day is free for leisure activities or last minute shopping and packing.

Eve:  Farewell dinner at a restaurant of choice in Kathmandu.

Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu. (Meals included: breakfast & dinner) 

Free until final departure transfer to the Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport for onward flight back to your home country. (Breakfast)
