Itinerary
Day 01

Arrival in Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, meet Himalayan Holidays representative, assist and transfer to the hotel. At the hotel’s lobby welcome refreshments will be served and room check in assistance provided. Shortly afterwards there will be a tour briefing at the hotel’s lobby.

Eve: Welcome dinner at a Nepali restaurant featuring cultural program.

Day 02

Kathmandu Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.It includes visit to the Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu DurbarSquare) – an ancient durbar (palace) with its numerous old palaces, temples and pagodas, the Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”, and the Kasthamandap Temple, which is believed to be constructed from the wood of a single tree from which Kathmandu derives its name. Lunch at BoudhanathStupa at decent tourist restaurant.

In addition also visit the BoudhanathStupa– an ancient colossal stupa and the center of Tibetan Buddhism in the world and the Pashupatinath Temple – the Temple of Lord Shiva situated on the bank of the holy Bagmati River.Return to hotel and free evening.

Day 03

Drive to Bandipur(140kms/4 Hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Bandipur along with Prithivi Highway.Bandipur arrival, check-in into resort and rest.Evening, walk around the old Bandipur Bazaar.

Day 04

Drive to Pokhara (90kms/3 Hrs)

Breakfast at resort.Afternoon, drive to Pokhara.Pokhara, which is situated 200 kms west from Kathmandu, is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the laps of the mighty Annapurna Himalaya Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain; it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.Upon arrival check into the hotel.

Eve: Sunset boat ride in the Fewa Lake and stroll around colorful lakeside bazaar.

Day 05

Pokhara Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Pokhara valley covering which includes visit to the David’s Fall, the Bindabashani Temple, the Seti Gorge, theTibetan Refugee Camp.

After sightseeing, drive back to hotel and rest.Evening stroll around Lakeside area, a tourist hub in Pokhara.

Day 06

Drive to Tansen (120kms/4 Hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Tansen, a hill top at Palpa district of Western Region. Arrive in Tansen and enjoy a relaxed evening in resort at the hill station called Srinagar.Evening walk around the local village and surroundings.

Day 07

Drive to Lumbini(100kms/2.5 Hrs)

Breakfast at resort and late afternoon drive to Lumbini, a place where Lord Buddha was born.

Arrive at Lumbini. Take a rest for the day.

Day 08

Lumbini Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Lumbini Park to see foot print at Maya Devi Temple, where little Buddha was born before 2500 years ago. Thereafter, visit various monasteries made by different countries like Nepal,China, Korea,India,Thailand and many more.

Return to the hotel and take a complete rest.

Day 09

Drive to Chitwan (170kms/3 Hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Chitwan along with the beautiful highway with rice fiends and the local Tharu, (Indigenous people of Terai) settlements.Upon arrival meet by naturalists / representatives from the jungle lodge followed by tour briefing. In the evening, the well-stocked bar caters to the needs of the thirsty and a hearty meal of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served around the campfire.

Day 10

Full-day jungle activities

Am: Early wakeup call and proceed for an elephant ride or a jungle walk, to view the wildlife in their early repose. This is the best time of the day to see the animals as we silently brush through dewy tall elephant grass (18-20 ft. tall), a habitat for rhinos, tigers and other wild animals. Spend 2-3 hrs. in the jungle, then return to the camp for breakfast.

Shortly afterwards, visit the elephant stables to get a firsthand knowledge on elephants from senior naturalists. Here one can witness the rare scene of elephants at bath.

Pm: After a hearty lunch at camp, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid-afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for generalin formations on the National parkIn the late afternoon, there is a choice to participate in the programs offered at the camp, which includes Canoe rides/ floats or an escorted Nature walk and bird watching excursion.

Dinner and overnight at jungle lodge.(Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 11

Drive to Daman (130 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Breakfast at hotel and drive to Daman, a hill station via Hetauda, a commercial and industrial area of the region.Arrive at Daman. Check in into resort and day free for relaxation and for visiting local areas.

Enjoy magnificent Sunset from the resort.

Day 12

Drive back to Kathmandu (100kms/2 .5 Hrs)

Early morning enjoy Sunrise. Breakfast at resort and relax for the morning.Afternoon, drive back to Kathmandu.Upon arrival check in at a hotel. Rest of the day is free for leisure.

Free evening for personal activities like Spas, Massage, Sauna etc.

Day 13

Kathmandu Sightseeing

Breakfast at hotel and proceed for sightseeing of Bhaktapur Durbar square,BhaktapurCity.Bhaktapur City, literally the “City of Devotees”, is renowned for its elegant art, fabulous culture, colorful festivals, traditional dances and the typical Newari lifestyle. Here explore the Royal Palace, the Golden Gate,the entrance to the Palace of 55 Windows, known as the most significant piece of art in Nepal. Then visit the highest temple in the entire Kathmandu Valley- the Nyatapola Temple.

Lunch at Bhaktapur and drive back to SwyombhunathStupa for sightseeing.SwayambhunathStupa situated atop a hill from where you could get a bird’s eye View of Kathmandu Valley. The SwayambhunathStupa is also known as the“MonkeyTemple”!!

Eve: Group Farewell dinner.

Day 14

Final departure from Nepal.

Check out from the hotel and meet Himalayan Holidays representative and transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu for final departure.
