Itinerary
Day 01

Arrive in Kathmandu (1,350m)

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be welcomed by a beautiful garland of seasonal flowers at the gate of the International Arrival Terminal.

With the final counting and loading of luggage into the vehicle, you will be transferred to the hotel and check in.

After welcome refreshments, there will be a short briefing with the Himalayan Holidays Representative. You get general information and orientation about the tour or trek.

Then you have free time in Kathmandu. You can explore the city.

In the evening – welcome dinner and traditional show in an authentic Nepali restaurant in Kathmandu. You will enjoy your dinner with different types of dances.

The main products of Nepalese cuisine are – rice, wheat, lentils, fresh vegetables and, sometimes, meat. Local chefs turn these ingenious products into pieces of culinary art, dazzling taste, teasing with smell, causing delight of any enthusiast. Food in Nepal is a meal worthy of kings. Very tasty, very spicy, and very diverse– these are the three main features of Nepalese cuisine. This is beyond words. You have to try it!

Day 02

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City

Am: OPTIONAL MOUNTAIN FLIGHT

After an early wake-up call, proceed to Kathmandu’s Domestic Airport for an exhilarating early morning mountain flight to view the world’s highest Mount Everest and other giant peaks of the Eastern Himalayas. After the one-hour-long scenic flight, return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast and rest.

Later, proceed for a sightseeing tour of World Heritage Sites including,

Pashupatinath Temple – The holiest of them all, the temple of Lord Shiva the Pashupatinath Temple is one of the biggest dhams for Hindus. Every Hindu cherishes a visit to this hallowed place at least once in a lifetime.

Bouddhanath Stupa: The first stupa at Bouddhanath was built sometime after AD 600, when the Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo, converted to Buddhism. In terms of grace and purity of line, no other stupa in Nepal comes close to Bouddhanath.

Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu Durbar Square) – an ancient durbar (palace) with numerous old palaces, temples and pagodas, the Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”, and the Kasthamandap Temple. We can also take you on a walk through the very busy interesting traditional market of Asan & Indrachok. And visit Thamel Bazaar for shopping or enjoy the tourist Market.

After the tour return to the hotel for rest and refreshments, bag packing, personal activities, etc.

Day 03

Drive to Kurintar (100 Km/3 hours) en route white water rafting on the Trishuli River.

After breakfast, start a 3-hour scenic drive to Kurintar, situated on the bank of Trishuli River. En route stop at Charaudi (raft starting point) where there will be a short briefing followed by some demonstrations related to white water rafting.

Shortly afterwards, commence exciting white water rafting in the Trishuli River for about 3 hours till we reach Kurintar (raft ending point). Initially, we begin with small rapids and soon catch up with bigger ones.

Bid farewell to your rafting crew short walk to River Side Resort for changing and Refreshment. The rest of the day is free to enjoy the surrounding beauty.

Day 04

Cable Car ride to Manakamana Temple and drive to Chitwan - 3 Hours

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the Cable Car station to board the Cable Car ride to the famed Manakamana Temple “Goddess of wish-fulfilling”. After the excursion return to the Cable car station and start driving to Chitwan, which is located in the southern plainland of Nepal called Terai Region. The name, Chitwan, means Heart of the Jungle.

Upon arrival, check into the wildlife jungle lodge for lunch. After lunch, your naturalist will brief you about the wildlife activities that you will be participating in.

After refreshments, begin the jungle activities with a canoe ride followed by the sundowner view. The canoe ride will be 1.5 hours which offers real-time insight into wild animals including one-horned rhinoceros, deer, marsh mugger, gharial crocodiles, monkeys, etc. In addition to this, we can enjoy the chirping of different birds including the migrated ones (depending upon the season) in the water, the bank of the river and the nearby trees, butterflies, and many more.

Then return to the lodge. After dinner, attend the cultural program show performed by the native people of Chitwan (Tharu, Kumal, etc).

Day 05

Full-Day Wildlife Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park

Early wake-up calls and proceed for a jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park, to view the wildlife in their early repose. The safari will be of 4 to 5 hours covering a major part of the National Park where we will see a large number of wild animals. In between, the naturalist will serve hot and cold drinks with light snacks during the break. Later, return to the lodge and have lunch.

After some refreshments, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid-afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for general information on the National Park. Shortly afterwards slow walk to visit the indigenous people of this National park with their native, unspoiled traditions and customs.

Day 06

Fly to Pokhara, drive to Kande – 1 hour and trek to Australian Camp (2,065m/6,774ft) – 1 ½ hours.

After breakfast check out from Jungle Lodge and get transferred to Bharatpur Domestic Airport, to board the short flight of 20 minutes.

 Pokhara is an enchanting city nestled in the tranquil valley (827m) on the lap of the mighty Annapurna Himalayan Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings and fantastic views of the Annapurna range including the Fish Tail Mountain; it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.

 Upon arrival in Pokhara, meet the waiting vehicle and drive to Kande via Pokhara/Beni Highway which takes about 1 Hour then we hike up to Australian Camp through the forestry uphill from Kande. Around one and a half hours of walking will bring us to the beautiful spot of Australian Camp. The lodge will welcome us with a great panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalayas, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Annapurna II and IV and Lamjung Himal etc. We can go excursion to the beautiful village of Pothana.

Day 07

Trek to Astam Village (1,570m/5,150ft) - 5 Hours

Early morning wake-up calls to enjoy the sunrise view over mighty Annapurna Massif. After breakfast, start to walk down to Dhampus through the rhododendron forest and further towards Astam village via Hyangja Kot village. The eastern horizon is dominated by the chain of Annapurna Himalayas.

The authentic theme of Astam village will remark on the great experience of a rural community with an impressive view of the Himalayas.

Day 08

Trek down to Hemja (1,025 m) and drive to Pokhara – 30 minutes

After breakfast, walk down to Hemja, meet the waiting vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into the lodge.

After some refreshments, proceed to explore the beauty and mystical sites of Pokhara including Devi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the International Mountain Museum or World Peace Stupa.

Eve: Sunset Boat Ride on Phewa Lake. At dusk, attend Tal Barahi Aarati puja at the shore of the Lake. And stroll around the colorful Lakeside Baazar.

Day 09

Free day in Pokhara

Spend a free day in Pokhara. You have an option to go for some additional Adventure activities such as Pokhara City offers an Adventure Tourism Hub of Nepal. Some of the interesting activities are as follows:

Day 10

Fly to Kathmandu – 25 minutes

After breakfast, a timely transfer to Pokhara Airport to board an onward flight to Kathmandu for about 25 minutes. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, transfer and check into the hotel.

The rest of the day is free for refreshments and last-minute shopping, bag packing, and sightseeing tours (on your own).

Day 11

Final Departure from Nepal

Timely transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport to board an onward flight to home country 3 hours earlier than the scheduled departure time. We wish you a happy journey during your flight from Nepal to your home country with the hope of seeing you on your next visit to Nepal.
