It is situated at an altitude of 2,278 meter south-west of Kathmandu valley, from where we can witness bird eye view of Kathmandu valley and panoramic view of Mountains including Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Gaurishankar etc. Buddhist stupa and Hindu shrine located on the hill attracts large number of pilgrims on full moon day.
DETAILED ITINERARY
Itinerary
Day 01
Drive from Kathmandu to Pharping (19km / 1 hr. drive)
After Early morning breakfast at hotel, we drive to Pharping village (on the way to Dakshinkali temple) 16km south of Kathmandu.
Hike from Pharping to Champa Devi Hill (3 hrs.)
We start our hike towards the Champa Devi hill along the way of pine forest. It takes us about 3 hours to reach the top.
Hike back to Pharping (2hrs) and Drive to Kathmandu(1 hr.)
After lunch (Packed lunch) and strolling around for some time, we hike down to Pharping for about 2 hrs. On arrival, catch our private vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu.
