This trek offers a panoramic view of Pokhara valley and the beautiful Fishtail Summit (Macchapucchare) as well as Annapurna Range to the north and magnificent lakes surrounded by mountains in the Southeast, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu and Himchuli in the east. Although, a short trek, it is not necessarily a very easy one and people do need to be reasonably fit. It is best as a three or four days trek and does not extend well beyond that unless you prefer to spend an extra rest day at one of the campsites.

We shall continue downhill for a while after passing through a small village, there is a rather surprising climb uphill which eventually leads us through the backyards of a small Gurung village to a scenic hilltop campsite at Shyaglung. The view from our campsite at Shyaglung is just enchanting, especially during sunrise and sunset, when the visually impressive effects of the sunlight against the majestic Annapurna Range, leaves you deeply astounded with its grandeur.
