Day 01

Jansi - the burning of the sacred fire

First evening’s program begins around 07.00 pm, with the “Jinsi” the burning of the sacred fire.

  4. Mewang (the sacred fire ceremony)
Day 02

Chipdrel - a traditional reception

Day begins around 9.30 in the morning with “chipdrel”, a traditional reception. Astara (clown) welcomes the audience and there is marchang ceremony followed by Mask dances

  3. Peling Ging Sum – Driging, Juging, Ngaging
  4. Durda Cham Lunch breaks around 1pm.
  5. Jachung and Boechung dance
  6. Pac ham
Day 03

Day Three

  1. Atsara (clown) dance Dola Pangtoy
  2. Shazam
  3. Shana Phurcham with Durda
  4. Shana Ngacham Lunch break
  5. Ging & Tsholing Cham (the dance of the sacred war between the gods and the de- mons)
  6. Tsecho Gingcham (Tercham)
  7. Damitse Ngacham (The famous drum beat dance originating from Dramitse)
  8. Pholey Moley Cham
Day 04

Day Four

  1. Chungtsam Cham
  2. Gicham
  3. Dorling Ngacham (Tercham of Terchen Dorjil- ingpa)
  4. Raksha Gocham Lunch Break.
  5. Raksha Mangcham (this dance present life after death, at the court of the Lord of the Dead.)
  6. Ten Wang (Blessings from the sacred statue of Terton Dorj Lingpa
