Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu (1,350m)
After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be received by a garland of seasonal flowers at the gate of the International Arrival Terminal.
At the final count of luggage loading into the vehicle, transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Welcome refreshments, a short briefing follows with the Himalayan Holidays Representative. You will get general information and orientation about the tour or trek.
Later, a free day in Kathmandu, where you can take an optional sightseeing tour if you book us in advance or explore on your own.
Evening: Welcome dinner and traditional show in an authentic Nepali restaurant in Kathmandu. You will enjoy your dinner with different types of dances.
The major products of Nepalese cuisine are rice, wheat, lentils, fresh vegetables, and sometimes meat. These ingenious products local chefs then turn into some kind of culinary art that dazzles your taste and teases you with the smell, causing a delight for any gourmet. Food in Nepal is a meal fit for a king. Very tasty, very spicy, and very diverse are three main features of Nepalese cuisine. One can’t retell about it; one should just try it.

Kathmandu City Sightseeing
Enjoy an optional early morning mountain flight from Kathmandu’s Domestic Airport for an hour. Observe the tallest peaks of the Eastern Himalayas-a breathtaking sight of the world’s highest, Mt. Everest, among others. Return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast and rest. Later, visit Kathmandu’s World Heritage Sites. First, visit Pashupatinath Temple, the most sacred place for Hindus and one of the biggest destinations of a pilgrimage. Every Hindu wants to visit this sacred place at least once in their lifetime. Then, proceed to the iconic Bouddhanath Stupa, built sometime after the 6th-century AD conversion of Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo to Buddhism. It is a stupa famous for its elegant and chaste architectural style, nowhere to be found in Nepal.
Hanuman Dhoka (Kathmandu Durbar Square) – Ancient durbar or palace with plenty of old palaces, temples, and pagodas; the Temple of Living Goddess “Kumari”; and Kasthamandap Temple. We can also take you on a walk through the very busy and interesting traditional market of Asan & Indrachok. And take an evening tour around Thamel Bazaar for shopping or just enjoying the tourist Market.
PM: After the tour return to the hotel for rest and refreshments, bag packing, personal activities, etc.

Drive to Kurintar (100 Km/3 hours) en route white water rafting in Trishuli River.
After breakfast, start a 3-hour drive into Kurintar on the bank of Trishuli River via highway. En-route stop at Charaudi (raft starting point) and will have some briefing, followed by some white water rafting demonstration.
Shortly afterwards start thrilling white water rafting in the Trishuli River for about 3 hours until we reach Kurintar raft ending point. We start our rafting in small rapids and soon catch up to bigger ones.
Bid adieu to the rafting crew short walk to River Side Resort for changing and Refreshment. The rest of the day is free to enjoy surroundings.

Cable Car ride to Manakamana Temple and drive to Chitwan - 3 Hours
After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to the Cable Car station to board the Cable Car ride to the famed Manakamana Temple “Goddess of wish-fulfilling”. After the excursion, return to the Cable car station and start driving to Chitwan, which is located in the southern plainland of Nepal called Terai Region. The name, Chitwan, means Heart of the Jungle.
Arrive and check-in into the wildlife jungle lodge for lunch. Later, post lunch your naturalist will brief you about the wildlife activities you will be doing.
After refreshments, start the jungle activities with a canoe ride followed by the sundowner view. The canoe ride will be 1.5 hours and offers real insight into wild animals in real time, including one-horned rhinoceros, deer, marsh mugger, gharial crocodiles, monkeys, etc. In addition to this, we can enjoy the chirping of different birds, including the migrated ones depending upon the season in the water, the bank of the river, and the nearby trees, butterflies, and many more.
Then, drive back to the lodge. After dinner, watch the cultural program shown by the locals of Chitwan: Tharu, Kumal, etc.

Full-Day Wildlife Jungle Activities in Chitwan National Park
Wake-up calls early and proceed for the jeep safari inside Chitwan National Park in order to get a glimpse into the wild game in their morning repose. The safari time will be approximately 4 – 5 hour drive, traveling through most of the part of National Park. Observe the variety of wildlife. Enroute, naturalists will arrange snacks and refreshment with cold drinks. Return back to the lodge followed by lunch.
After some refreshments, the afternoon is free for the much-deserved mid-afternoon siesta or a visit to the library for general information on the National Park. Shortly afterwards a slow walk to visit the indigenous people of this National park with their native, unspoiled traditions and customs.

Fly to Pokhara, drive to Kande – 1 hour and trek to Australian Camp (2,065m/6,774ft) – 1 ½ hours.
After breakfast check out from Jungle Lodge and get transferred to Bharatpur Domestic Airport, to board the short flight of 20 minutes.
Pokhara-a city of enchantment, lies in a tranquil valley (827m) on the lap of the mighty Annapurna Himalayan Range. With its beautiful lakes, lush green surroundings, and fantastic view of the Annapurna range, including the peak Fish Tail Mountain, it is considered one of nature’s finest gifts to Nepal.
Upon arriving in Pokhara, meet the vehicle waiting for us and drive to Kande via Pokhara/Beni Highway for about 1 Hour, then hike uphill from Kande through the forestry to Australian Camp. We will reach this beautiful spot of Australian Camp after walking around one and half hours. The lodge greets us with a great panoramic view of the Annapurna Himalayas including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiuchuli, Annapurna II and IV and Lamjung Himal etc. We can make an excursion to the beautiful village of Pothana.

Trek to Astam Village (1,570m/5,150ft) - 5 Hours
Very early morning call in order to be able to capture the view of sunrise over the mighty Annapurna Massif. After having breakfast, proceed downhill to Dhampus through a rhododendron forest and further Astam village through Hyangja Kot village. The eastern horizon is dominated by the chain of Annapurna Himalayas.
The authentically maintained theme of the Astam Village will remark to the great experiences of rural communities with an impression of the views of the Himalayas.

Trek down to Hemja (1,025 m) and drive to Pokhara – 30 minutes
After breakfast, walk down to Hemja, meet the waiting vehicle and drive back to Pokhara. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check into the lodge.
After some refreshments, proceed to explore the beauty and mystical sites of Pokhara including Devi’s Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the International Mountain Museum or World Peace Stupa.
Eve: Sunset Boat Ride on Phewa Lake. At dusk, attend Tal Barahi Aarati puja at the shore of the Lake. And stroll around the colorful Lakeside Bazaar.
